  • lyrics:
    Cold are the nights,
    Long are the days,
You sleep to find the comfort,
    That seldom comes your way.

When will you come my way?

I stepped out of the darkness,
In search of you, my friend,
I hoped you'd be my savior,
I had to step back once again.

When will you come my way?

When will the red leaves fall?
When will the birds fly home?

    If you appear before me,
I won't know what to say,
    This question will not leave
When will you come my way?

    You're all my past desires,
    Awaken in one dawn,
I search for you each day,
When will you come my way?

    Cold are the nights,
    Long are the days,

When will you come my way?

(Barb Waters, Rob Snarski: "When will you come my way?")
