In a darkened apartment a hired assassin awaits for a phone call from his boss. After he hangs up he goes into action which ends up in a failure. The assassin gets more and more nervous, he seeks comfort in food, and gradually gets fatter. The rhythm in the video is that of the assassin as he moves in an almost cyclic manner from the bed to the telephone - each time at a slower pace as he gains more weight. Petar Joncic (1970) holds a degree in Art history from the Belgrade University and passed the MA exam at The Faculty of Dramatic Arts, film department. Works as a journalist for TV Studio B in Belgrade. Author of short films, documentaries and TV reportages. |
